What are foam rollers? I keep reading references to them, but don't know what they look like, or what used for? Thanks!

I'm so glad to find that you wrote something about knee wraps. The other day a dude at the gym told me "You should wrap your knees if you are going to squat that low. You know, to support them." I didn't really have a snappy comeback, so I just shrugged and got back to the lifting, secure in the knowledge that knees are made to do this kind of thing. Now I have a snappy comeback! Thanks!

I like to wear gloves because they make me feel even more badass while lifting.

Chalk powder is really important with heavy lifts. Its the best injury and life saving thing in the gym, can't be stressed more.

Thx for all the information at one place.

Thank you for the footwear recommendations. Had been using cross-training sneakers that pitched me a little forward and recently switched to Chuck Taylors. I feel much more stable; what a difference!
