I'm graduating from college in May. I have to say, without my daily workout I believe I would have gone insane at some point in my 5 years of higher education. Some people think I'm nuts for keeping up excercise with my already hectic schedule, but nothing takes your mind off a hard day of biochem and physiology quite like lifting heavy objects.

It is only "too late" to be active and healthy, and to improve your level of fitness, when you are dead. Otherwise it's all fair game, whether you're 100 pounds overweight, 100 years old, or both. If you can move any body part you can move it against resistance. If you have any free choice at all (which is the case if you're not currently in a coma), then you can choose how you eat and your level of activity. It is NEVER too late!! Studies show that even people in their 90s, when started on a weight training program and/or good diet, improved. You can always get better, always.

"Too late" probably only applies to winning the gold medal in gymnastics and playing for the NBA.

See this scares me: "Don’t leave it too late" because I'm 65 and 100+ pounds overweight. Every time I pick up a for or a weight or go for a walk I worry about whether it is too late.
