Challenging myself physically and suprising myself with what I&#039;m capable of is the one accomplishment and daily activity that has truly empowered me and made me feel good about myself. So it&#039;s frustrating when other feminists mock physical activity and dismiss &quot;all exercise&quot; as &quot;self-torture in pursuit of a fascistic beauty ideal.&quot; (Exact quote from a blog comment, I s--t you not.) So, while not a runner anymore (stupid plantar fasciitis,) I&#039;m putting this one on my to-read list.]]></description>
