@Cathy: You can progress KBs in a few ways:

* time (longer sets of swings, for e.g.)
* # of reps (I prefer time, personally, because I tend to zone out and lose count!)
* "density" of time/reps, i.e. 10 swings in a minute is different than 30 swings in a minute
* weight of KB

So, you can mix up a handful of the same exercises simply by using these different parameters. For example:

Heavy day - squat 5 sets x 5 reps; press 5 sets x 5 reps (progression can include using heavier weight)

Speed day - speed squat 5 reps then immediately explosively press or jerk 5 reps; repeat for 5 rounds

Circuit/endurance day - squat to press = 1 rep; do 15 reps then rest; do 3 times (progression can include going faster, heavier, or using shorter rest)

Timed rounds day - 1 min squats; 1 min press; rest 1 min then repeat (progression can include more reps in a minute or longer time/shorter rest)

Get the idea?

Hi, Krista! I've been reading your site for quite some time now. I'm really interested in kettlebells/kettlestacks so that I can do my training at home, instead of a a gym where nothing like that exists! Do you still use the KS? If so, would you be willing to share a few workout progressions? Thanks!
