who are these pretty porkers?

Pretty Porky and Pissed Off is a force of large and in charge women dedicated to expanding public awareness and acceptance about fat issues. We are sexy and we have pot bellies. Our brand of fat activism is about everyBODY. People come in all different sizes. One person's chubby is another person's chunky is another person's skinny is another person's svelt is another person's huge. From XXL to Super Size, we want to spread the word that everyBODY is a good body.

Instead of accepting cultural standards about how greedy we are and how offensive our bodies appear, we wear tight, tantalizing clothes. Refuse the moo moo. To be clear, we are pigs on our own terms, not out of hate but out of love. Our tongues are placed firmly in our cheeks. Rather than being afraid to admit we are fat and we eat (a major crime in the eyes of some fat phobes) we want to celebrate eating to try and eradicate some of the crazy guilts we have around food that can result in serious eating disorders. Cakes, candy, cookies … sugary sweet bundles represent some of culture's ultimate food fetish items, let's not be afraid of them. We know how important fruits and veggies are to these amazing machines we call our bodies, but we also know that food is love and love is food.
