Gallon antifreeze containers work wonderfully! After use rinse out several times. You can fill with water or sand. The handle on top feels MUCH better than a gallon milk jug. Also MUCH more durable (and droppable...haha).

What about box jumps? Milk cartons might be too flimsy and unsteady but what about piling up skids to make different levels? I've been thinking about using some to make an obstacle course to do while carrying a sandbag. It would have to be small because of my back yard, but it could be made challenging with different platforms to jump to, maybe have a jump rope at one "station", or have to stop and do squats with the sandbag or drop it and do some pushups before carrying on. If it works out then I'd try getting through it in a shorter time or adding in more "stations".

For the beginning, or postpartum, weight lifter, a baby makes an excellent weight to carry around for all daily activities and things like weighted reverse crunches.

When put on a soft surface underneath you it will also make a good motivator for doing one more push-up or another 20 seconds of plank. (Or both, as plank turns into push-up to kiss a giggly face.)
