Previous Hardcore of the Year award in the Under-18 category went to the girl who had her arm bitten off by a shark and then returned to surfing. Now we have a new contender: Russia’s Strongest Girl. (Video)
Note, by the way, that all this has not made her into a she-beast. (Although she may need some therapy for the father issues.)

Finally de-lurking after ages to say thank you so much for this site, Krista. I won’t say you have changed my life, but your well-thought-out texts have influenced my views on lots of things, which in turn made me change many aspects of my life and gave me a new appreciation of my own (growing!) strength. So there you go, in a weird, roundabout way, I just said you changed my life after all.
Also, that girl is from the Ukraine, not Russia. I know, from across the pond it all gets a little fuzzy east of Poland… ;)
