Krista, I love your interviews. Will this podcast be a regular occurance? I can't find any listing of it outside the blog and would like to link to a feed and pass it around if it is.

Lyn: Leucine -- very well established in the literature. I wrote a piece on it some years ago, when the research was in its early stages.

Dan is 52, so he'd be a good source of info on throwing and the master's athlete. Check out his Get Up newsletter -- link is in the article.

Wow, what a great interview! I am really tempted to get the Dan John DVDs.

I am pretty darn close to getting into the Silver Club; those are some great goals. The material on the older athlete was really great too, especially since I've just started throwing sports at 51.

Krista, what do you think of the leucine recommendation?

Krista - nice interviewing skills! (I realize that's not the point here, but so many interviews for public consumption are so very poorly done.)

The emphasis on simplicity and learning the basics is great; I just joined a real grown-up gym for the first time and there are way too many fun toys to try out. This was a good reminder to be patient and master the basics. That bright blue 28kg kettlebell ain't going anywhere.
