This is a leatherleaf spurge. It's a low-growing border-type plant which is about twelve to fourteen inches tall. In the spring, it makes "flowers" which are really leaf bracts, and their colour is a bright yellow-lime green. If you feel its leaves, they really do feel like a soft leather. |
