"I love you, Arizona;
Your mountains, deserts and streams;
The rise of Dos Cabezas
And the outlaws I see in my dreams;
I love you Arizona,
Superstitions and all;
The warmth you give at sunrise;
Your sunsets put music in us all."

("Arizona", Rex Allen Jr.)

Arizona's official state fossil is petrified wood. Which doubtless sums up the bulk of the population of Scottsdale, who are either already fossilized, or well on their way to preserving their carcasses with the chemicals in their cuisine and the pesticides on their golf courses. But what the hell, when in Rome, do as the Romans do, so we rent a Caddy with leather seats. Booyeah!
